Step-by-step explanation:

Let the man have money is x.

wife=x/4

son=2x/5

2x/5 +x/4 = 13x/20

Since 13/20 of x is given to wife and son. Therefore money left= x-13/20=7x/20

7x/20=21000

x=21000 * 20/7

=60000

Therefore the man had 60000.

Wife has = 60000/4=15000

son has = 2 *60000/5=24000
