A man lent equal sums of money at 5.5 per cent and 4per cent per annum respectively for a period of 3 years. If he earned rupees72 more for the money lent out at 5.5 percent find the sum of money lent at 4 percent

p×5.5×3/100-p×4×3/100=72
3p/100(1.5)=72
p/100(1.5)=24
p3/200=24
p=800
