W= mgh( where m is mass, g is gravity and h is height)

= 50×10×2.

= 1000Joule.

Work = Force * Displacement

Displacement = 2m

Force = mass * acceleration

Mass = 50kg

Acceleration = 9.8m/s

Force = 50 * (-9.8) = 490

Work = 490*2

Work =  980 Joules
