Given that, A man loses 12

2 1  % of his money and after spending 70% of the remainder, he was left with Rs.200.

 Let the money that he had at the beginning is =x.

  Now, according the question,

(x−12

2 1 % of x)−70% of (x−12

2 1 % of x)=210

(  8 7x )−  100 70

(  8 7x )=210

(8 7x )−(  80 49x  )=210

(  80 21x )=210

x=  21

210×80

x = Rs.800

Hence, this is the answer.
