A man loses 20% of his money. After spending 20% of the remaining he has Rs.704

left. How much money did he originally have?​

let the man had rs 100

he lost 20% = 20% of 100 = 20

remaining money = 100 - 20 = 80

money spent = 20% of 80

= 20/100 * 80

= 16

money remaining = 80 - 16

= 64

remaining money is 64 when total money is 100

remaining money is 1 when total is 100/64

remaining is 704 when total is 100*704/64

= 1100
