Question :-A man lost 10% by selling orange's at the rate of 11 for a rupee,how many a rupee should be sell them to gain 10% ?

→ SP of 1 Orange =  \frac{1}{11}

→ Since he makes a loss of 10%, the CP is:

CP =  \frac{100}{(11 × 90)} =  \frac{10}{99}

→ To make a profit of 10%, SP should be :

 \frac{10}{99} ×  \frac{110}{100} =  \frac{11}{99} =  \frac{1}{9} Orange.

⟹ He must sell 9 oranges a rupee.
