A man lost 8% of his salary and spent 6% of the remaining. He still has Rs. 120. Find his total salary.

Total salary of the person be x

Remaing salary = 6%=120

i.e. = 120/x × 6/100

6x = 12000

x = 12000/6

x = 2000 (total salary)
