Answer:

1st type of tea = 40 kg

Money earned by selling 1st type of tea = 40 kg * 60

                                                                  = Rs 2400

She also makes 20% profit,

So Selling price = ( 100 + profit / 100 ) * CP

                          = ( 100 + 20 / 100 ) * 2400

                          = 20 * 2400

                          = 48000

2nd type of tea = 65 kg

Money earned = 65 kg * 60

                         = Rs 3900

She makes 20% profit

So Selling price = ( 100 + profit / 100 ) * CP

                          = ( 100+ 20 / 100 ) * 3900

                          = 20 * 3900

                          = 78000

Ration = 48000 / 78000

           = 8 / 13

           = 8 : 13 ( Final Answer )

Ratio of sales = 24 : 39

Ratio of CP = 49 : 65

Step-by-step explanation:

Amount of Tea 1 = 40 kg

Selling price = Rs. 60

Profit = 20%

Total sales of Tea 1 = 40 * 60 = 2400

SP = 120%

So CP will be = 2400 / 120 * 100 = 2000.

Amount of Tea 2 = 65 kg

Total sales of Tea 2 = 65 * 60 = 3900

SP = 120%

So CP will be = 3900/ 120 * 100 = 3250.

Ratio of sales = 2400 : 3900 = 24 : 39

Ratio of CP = 2000 : 3250 = 49 : 65
