S. P. =250

C.P. of the article at which the man buys it= S.P.×100/100+gain%

250×100/100+15

=25000/115

=217.39

Now,

C.P.=217.39

Profit%=38%

S.P.= C.P.×(100+gain%)/100

=217.39×(100+38)/100

=299.99 answer
