Amount spent on rent = (1/4)(2x/3) = (x/6) Let amount is [(2x/3) - (x/6)] = (x/2) Amount spent on clothes = (1/5)(x/2) = (x/10) Amount left = Rs 1760. Therefore, x - (x/3) - (x/6) - (x/10) = 1760. Take LCM and simplify to get the value of x.
