A man move in the east direction in an open field and stop after walking 25m . Now, he turned his right hand side and walk 10m . How much minimum distance he has to cover to reach his starting point (a)27m (b)10m (c)30m (d)50m​

let the distance he covered in east direction be X=25m

and the distance covered after turning his right hand side be Y=10m

you may observe that he is making two sides of a right angled triangle

So finding the third side will give you your answer

....Let the 3rd side be Z

By Pythagorean theorem

 {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  = z ^{2}

25² +10²=Z²

625+100=z²

725=z²

z=√725

z=26.9

z=27m(approx)
