A man moves along a circular track of radius 10m. Assume he starts from a point and reaches diametrically opposite point. Find his distance and displacement.

Distance=31.4m

Displacement=diameter=20m

Explanation:

Since he travelled along a semicircle, therefore distance travelled will be half of circumference i.e. pi×r

Displacement is the shortest distance i.e diameter
