Answer:

The distance is 22 m.

Explanation:

Circumference of the circle is 2 pie r

=2 * 22/7 * 7

=44

So, full circle distance is 44 m.

Half the circle distance is = 44/2 = 22 m.

Hope this helps...........

Required Answer:

✒ GiveN:

  • A man moves from A to B.
  • By completing half of a circle.
  • Radius of the circle = 7 m

✒ To FinD:

  • Distance travelled by the man.....?

How to solve?

Before solving the question, Let's revise the important point regarding Distance travelled by a body.

  • Distance is the actual path covered by a body.

Here, The actual path covered by the body is the length of the semi circle or half of the circumference of the .

☕ We know,

 \large{ \boxed{ \rm{Circumference  \: of \:  \bigcirc \: = 2\pi r}}}

Then, Length of semicircle = 2πr/2 = πr

So, By using this let's find the distance travelled by the man around circular path.

Solution:

We have,

  • Radius of circle = 7 m
  • Distance = Length of semi circle

So, by using formula,

➙ Distance travelled = πr

➙ Distance travelled = 22/7 × 7 m

➙ Distance travelled = 22 m

Distance travelled by the man = 22m

☀️ Hence, solved !!
