A man nding on a bicycle covers a distance of 60 km in the direction of wind and
back to his original position in 8 hours. If the speed of the wind is 10 km/hr. find the speed
of the bicycle.​

60/(x+10)+60/(x-10)=8

solve the equation we get

x(square)-15x-100=0

x (square)-15x+56.25-56.25-100=0

X(x-7.5square)=156.25

x-7.5=12.5

x=20km/hr
