Given :

Mass of man , M = 60 kg .

Energy gain by eating 5 mangoes , E = 1000 cal = 4184 Joules .

( 1 cal = 4.184 Joules )

Efficiency , n = 56 % .

To Find :

To what height he can jump by using this energy .

Solution :

Since , the efficiency is 56 % .

So , energy left is ,

E=\dfrac{56}{100}\times 4184\ J\\\\E=2343.04\ J

Now , we know , potential energy is given by :

E=mgh\\\\2343.04=60\times 9.8\times h\\\\h=\dfrac{2343.04}{60\times 9.8}\ m\\\\h=3.98\ m

Therefore , height to which it reach is 3.98 m .

Hence , this is the required solution .
