In both the cases find the vertical component of the tension force.

sin60° = P / TO

T1 = 2p /root 3

Similarly

T2 = 2p

Now T1 : T2

2p / root 3 : 2p

1 : root 3

Thanks

Answer: The answer is c √3:1

Explanation:

Step 1: Given data

Weight of man, W = 80 kg

Acceleration due to gravity, g =10 ms^{-2}

Step 2: Find the ratio between T1 and T2

Horizontal components of T1 and T2 will cancel each other.

Therefore,

T1cos60 = T2cos30\\\frac{T1}{T2}=\frac{cos30}{cos60}\\\frac{T1}{T2}=\sqrt{3}

Hence the required ratio is √3:1
