Let coefficient of friction be ω

Force of friction = K

Normal reaction = N

Formula :

ω = K / N

K = 40 × 10 = 400 N

0.8 = 400 / N

0.8 N = 400

N = 400 / 0.8

N = 500 N

Normal reaction is :

500N.
