Whenever a body is subjected to multiple forces in that case the net force acting upon the body is the vectorial addition of forces and the resultant force acting on the body is considered. Whenever opposite direction force is applied on a body as they are opposite in direction they get subtracted Vectorially and added if they are acting in Same direction. This is the result when we move up the elevator we feel lighter. Because an opposite force due to the upward motion of the elevator occurs that acts upon opposite to the force acting due to gravity opposing that. Hence in this case the net force acting on the body on the person inside the elevator will be acceleration due to gravity-the acceleration of lift*mass of the person

Now the weight shown by the weighing machine is 468/9.8=47.5kgs
