65
Total length of steps = 65×20= 1300 cm
velocity = distance/time
=13/12
force = mg
=62 × 10. ( g = 10)
= 620
power = force × velocity.
= 620 × 13/12
= 671.6 watt.

"671.7W"  is the correct answer

Given:

A man of mass = 62Kg

number of steps = 65

time = 12 sec

height of each step = 20 cm

g = 10 m/s²

Explanation:

Total height gain:

=20cm x 65 steps = 1300 cm

=13 meters

Work done by man = m x g x h

power = Work done by man/ time taken

            = m x g x h/t

            = 62 x 10 x 13 / 12

             = 671.7W

hence, power spent by the man is 671.7W
