A man or mass ‘m' stands on a plane plank of mass (m/2) lying on

a smooth horizontal floor. Initially both are at rest. Then the man

starts walking on the plank towards the east and stops after a

distance •l' on the plank. Then show that the plank will slide to the

west by (2 / 3) l and then stop. Also explain why the centre of mass
