Hey Mate,

Given,

A man pays Rs. 1000 for 30 days. Then,

Let us take 1 day to be "x". Then,

=> 1000 = 30x

On transposing 30 from RHS to LHS, we get:-

=> 1000/30 = x

=> 100/3 = x

Therefore, he will have to pay 100/3 rupees for one day.

Now, since we have to find the cost borne by the person for 25 days we will multiply the cost borne by the person for one day by 25, i.e.,                   ( 100/3 ) * 25 = 833.33

Therefore, the man should pay Rs. 833.33 for 25 days.

Hope it Helps!

Money paid for 30 days = 1000 rupees
Money paid for 1 day = 1000/30
= 100/3 × 25
= 833.3 rupees
