30

86.6 Joule

Explanation:

Not Very Hard At All, Can be Solve by using Formula,

W = Fs

Work = W

Displacement = s

Force = F

Cos @ = Angle with horizontal line

Units :

All are in S.I i.e F in Newton, S in meter, W in joule.

Solution :

W = Fs cos@

= 5 × 20 cos 30

= 100 × 0.866

= 86.6 Joule

Therefore, 86.6 Joule work is done

Answer:

Question:-

A man pulling body tied to a rope by applying a force of 5 newton in such a way that it is making a angle of 30° which is horizontal.

Explanation:

Answer:-

86.6 joule

Given:

  • Force applied on the rope is 5 newton
  • Angle made by rope is 30°

Formula used :-

W= Fs cos@

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:-

  • W= work
  • F= force
  • S = Displacement
  • Cos@ = Angle with horizontal line

Let's do it step by step

solution:-

=》W= Fs cos@

=》 W= 5× 20 cos 30

=》100 × 0.866

=》86.6

•°• 86.6 is the answer

Know more:-

Units are in S.I unit (Standard International)

Force in newton [ 1 kgf= 9.8 newton] approx

[1 kgf= 10 newton] estimate

Displacement in metre

Work in joule

  1. Mass and weight are not the same.

2.Kg is unit of mass whereas kgf is unit of weight

3. The mass of a body can never be zero but the weight of a body is zero at centre of earth and in artificial satellite
