A man purchased a cell phone for 2000 rupees. By paying 200 rupees more he replaces its body (case). If he sells the cell phone for 2500 rupees, find his profit or loss percentage?

Answer:

so we do that

sp= 2500. (selling price )

cp = 2000 + 200. = 2200. ( cost price )

so here we se that sp is greater then cp now it is profit

profit = sp - cp

p = 2500 - 2200

p = 300profit

to find profit percent

profit percent = profit/cp × 100

p℅ = 300/2200×100

p℅ = 300/22

p℅ = 13.636363.........

p℅ = 13.64℅ approx
