So, cp of the phone is rs.2000

The overheads spent is rs.200

So, total cp is 2200

He sold the phone for rs.2500

So the sp is 2500

As the sp is more than cp, he gains profit

Profit=sp-cp

2500-2200=300

Profit% = profit/cp ×100

300/2200×100

=300/22

=13.63%.. (14% if we round figure)

Therefore, the gain/profit% is 14%
