Solutions :-

Given :
A man purchased a laptop for rupees 35450.
He sold at a loss of 11/2 % or 5.5%

Find the Selling price of Laptop :-

S.P = C.P - Loss % of C.P
= 35450 - 5.5% of 35450
= 35450 - 1949.75
= 33500.25

Hence,
The selling price of a laptop = Rs 33500.25

\bold{\huge{\underline{Question}}}A man purchased a laptop for rupees 35450 and sold at a loss of 11/2 percent .find the sp of the laptop

\bold{\huge{\underline{Answer-}}}According to the question we know that A man purchased a laptop for 35450Rs,and sold it at a loss of 11/2%

\bold{\underline{We \:need\: to \:find \:Selling\: Price}}

so,

SP = CP - loss% of CP

SP = 35450 -  \frac{11}{2}\%  \times 35450 \\  \\  \\ SP = 35450 -  \frac{5.5}{100}  \times 35450 \\  \\  \\  SP = 33500.25
