Answer:

Hence, the gain percentage is 32 % (approx.)

Step-by-step explanation:

L.C.M of 3 and 5 is 15:

Let a man buys 30 mangoes for total:

∴ C.P of 15 mangoes at 3 for Rs.40 = 40/3(15)

                                                           = Rs.200

Again, C.P for 15 mangoes at 5 for Rs.60 = 60/5(15)

                                                                     = Rs.180

∴ total C.P = Rs. (200+180)

                  = Rs.380

S.P of 30 mangoes = 50/3(30)

                                = Rs.500

∴ Profit = Rs. (500-380)

            = Rs.120

∴ Profit (%) = (120/380)(100)

                  = 31.58 %

                  = 32 % (approx.)
