A man pushes 45kg box from rest along a horizontal floor by exerting force of 87N downward at 33 degree to horizontal against frictional force of 62N over a distance of 13m.a) how much work was done in moving the box?v) determine change in kinetic energy while the box was pushed?c)what was the final speed of box after 13 m?

Answer:

Explanation:

Horizontal force supplied = 87Cos33 = 73N (practically)

so 13 x 73 Joules of work done.

There is no movement vertically so no work done vertically.

Obviously 62 x 13 Joules is in overcoming friction, the rest 11 x 13 Joules is the KE of the box. (Probably need this to get the velocity later)

Hope it helps
