GiveN :

  • Force (F) = 6 N
  • Displacement (s) = 30cm = 0.3 m

To FinD :

  • Work Done by man

SolutioN :

We know that,

⇒Work Done = Force * Displacement

⇒W = F * s

⇒W = 6 * 0.3

⇒W = 1.8

\therefore Work Done to displace book is 1.8 Joule.

Answer:

1.8 J

Explanation:

the equation for wok is,

Work , W = F.d

OR    W= F d cos (theta)                 {  F----> force

                                                          d---> displacement

                                                 theta---->  angle b/w force and displacement }

In this question it is given that block moves along direction of push

that means, angle b/w force and displacement is zero  , that is, theta=0

Given , F = 6 N

          d= 30 cm  = 0.3 m

     cos (theta)= cos 0 = 1

therefore applying the values in abv highlighted equation,

W = 6 * 0.3 * cos 0

  = 6 * 0.3 * 1

 = 1.8 Joule

            .

               .

                 hope it help u
