A man pushes a box of mass 50 kg
with a force of 80 N. What will be the
acceleration of the box? What should
be the acceleration of box if its mass is

halved and same force is applied on it?

Given:

m=50kg

F=80N

force =mass×acceleration

acceleration=force/mass

a=80/50

a=1.6m/s²

when mass is halved,

a=80/25

a=3.2m/s²

therefore,if mass is halved then acceleration is doubled.
