A man pushes a box of mass 50kg with a force of 80n. What will be the acceleration of the box due to the force? What would be the acceleration if the mass is halved?

f=ma
80=50*a
80/50=a
8/5=a

80 \div 50 = 1.6
a=1.6
1 \div 2 \times 50 = 25  \\  \:  a =f \div m =  80 \div 25 = 3.2

\huge\bold\purple{ANSWER:}

In first case: m= 50 kg, F= 80 N

Therefore, acceleration, a= F/m = 80/50 = 1.6 m/

In second case: m= 25 kg, F= 80 N

Therefore, acceleration, a= F/m= 80/25 = 3.2 m/

Hope it helps..:-)
