The pressure exerted on wall is 2.5×10 Pa.

Given - Force and wall

Find - Pressure

Solution - As per the known fact, pressure, force and area are related to each other by the formula-

Pressure = force ÷ area

Assuming the force to be 5000 Newton. Converting area into meter².

As per the known fact, 1 meter = 100 centimetres

1 centimetres = 0.01 meter

Area = 20 × 0.01 × 0.01

Area = 0.002 meter²

Keep the values in formula to find the pressure

Pressure = 5000÷ 0.02

Pressure = 2.5×10⁵ Pa

Hence, the pressure is 2.5×10⁵ Pa.
