 \\

According to Question,

 \\

  \bigstar \: \: \: \sf{X + 25\% \: \: of \: \: X = 185000} \\ \\ \sf{\implies \: X + (\dfrac{25}{100}) \times X = 185000} \\ \\ \sf{\implies \: X + \dfrac{25\: X}{100} = 185000 } \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \\ \\ \sf{\implies \: \dfrac{100 \: X + 25 \: X}{100} = 185000} \: \: \\ \\ \sf{\implies \: \dfrac{125 \: X }{100} = 185000} \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \\ \\ \sf{\implies \: 125 \: X = 185000 \times 100} \: \: \: \: \: \\ \\\sf{\implies \: 125 \: X = 18500000} \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \\ \\ \sf{\implies \: X = \dfrac{18500000}{125} } \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \\ \\ \sf{ \therefore \: X = 148000} \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \:

 \\

  • Hence, the annual salary in the year 2008 was Rs. 148000.
