A man required less than 9 days than his son to complete a job.Together they can finish the job in 20 days.How many days would each requires to finish the alone?

(15×20×25)÷(15×20+15×25+25×20)=6(18÷47)or 6.38

Therefore they would each take 6.38 days to complete the job.

Then, the man would finish the job in x-9 days.

Son's One day work = 1/x

Man one day work = 1/x-9

(Son + Man) one day work = 1/x +1/x-9 = 1/20
