half circumference of the park=πr
=3.14×40m
=125.6m
displacement=diameter of the circle

Half the circumference means that he will reach the other end which seems to be just opp. to his initial point and as displacement is the shortest distance covered therefore it will be equal to the diameter of the park. so the answer is 40m.
