Answer: 33 years

Step by step explanation:

Given :-

The present age of a man is 3 years more than three times the age of his son.

After 3 years, man's age will be 10 year more than twice the age of the son.

To Find: Present age of man.

Solution:

Let the son's present age be x years.

According to the question,

Man's present age = (3x + 3) years

(3x + 3 + 3) = 2 (x + 3) + 10

3x + 6 = 2x + 16

x = 10.

Man's present age = (3x + 3)

= (3 x 10) + 3 years

= 33 years.

Hence, Man's present age is 33 years.

SOLUTION:-

Given:

•A man's age is 3 years more than three times the age of his son.

•After 3 years his age will be 10 years more than twice of the age of his son.

To find:

The present age of his son.

Explanation:

•Let the present age of his son be R years.

•Father's age be 3 + 3R years

After 3 years:

•The son's age= R+3 years.

•The father's age= 3+(3+3R) years

&

10 years more than twice of the age of his son.

According to the question:

=) 3+(3+3R)=10+2(R+3)

=) 3 + 3 +3R = 10+2(R +3)

=) 6+3R = 10 + 2R +6

=) 6 + 3R = 16 + 2R

=) 3R - 2R = 16 -6

=) R = 10 years.

Thus,

•The present age's son= 10 years.

•The present age's father= 3 + 3R

=) 3 + 3(10)

=) 3 + 30

=) 33 years.
