Hi friend

Your answer
--------------------

Let the son's present age be x.

Then , his father's present age = 3x

Now,
--------

According to the question,
-----------------------------------------

(3x - 10) = 5(x - 10)

=> 3x - 10 = 5x - 50

=> 5x - 3x = 50 - 10

=> 2x = 40

=> x = 40/2

=> x = 20

Therefore,
-----------------

Son's present age = x = 20 years

Father's present age = 3x = (3 × 20) years = 60 years
