Hey,
Here is the answer.
》》》》》》》》》》

☆ Son's age be x
So, Man's age = 3x

☆ Ten years ago (-10)
Here, son's age be (x-10)
Man's age = 5 (x-10)

( 3x-10 ) = 5 (x-10)
3x - 10 = 5x - 50
5x - 3x = -10+50
2x = 40
x = 40/2 = 20

☆ Son's age = x = 20 years.
Man's age = 3x = 3×20 = 60 years

Hope it helps.

Let the present age of son be X
Then,
The age of man be 3X
After 10 years ago age of son = X-10
After 10 years age of Father = 3X-10
A/Q,
3X-10= 5(X-10)
3X-10 = 5X -50
3X-5X = -50+10
-2X = -40
X = 40/2 = 20
age of son = 20years
Therefore,
age of man = 3x = 3×20 = 60years
