I think we need the time when driver start from man's house.
according to the question it may be driver starts at 3 pm daily ..
in one way driver took 50 min to pick the man and 50 min to come back .. wo he can save 20 min ( driver pick th man at 3:50 pm)
remaining distance new pick point to office is 10 min for driver
but the man started at 3 pm and took 50 min to reach new pick up point.
distance is constant
v1t1 = v2t2
v1 × 50 = 45.5 × 10
v1 = 9.1 km/hr
