Answer:

Let the age of man be x and the age of son be y.

x = 8y

According to the first condition

x+ 10 = 3(y + 10)

x + 10 = 3y + 30

x - 3y = 30 - 10

x - 3y = 20

Substitute the value of x = 8y in the place of x

8y - 3y = 20

5y = 20

y = 20/5

y = 4 years.

x = 8y

x = 8(4)

x = 32 years

So the present age of man is x= 32 years and present age

of his is y = 4 years.

I hope this answer will help you mate!

Answer:

let the son age =x

man age is 8x

after 10 yr

x+10. 8x+10

x+10=3(8x+10)

x+10=24x+30

24x-x=30+10
