A man saves rs.3200 during the first year,rs.3600 in the next year, rs.4000 in the third year, if he continues his saving in his sequence, in how many years will be have rs.20000

T1=3200,T2=3600,T3=4000...............
Tn=20,000
now,
D=T2-T1=3600-3200=400
=T3-T2=4000-3600=400
D=400
We know that,
Tn = a + (n-1) d
20,000 = 3200 + (n-1) 400
20,000 - 3200 = 400n - 400
16800 = 400n - 400
16,800 + 400 = 400n
17,200 = 400n
n = 17,200/400
n = 43
therefore,
In 43 years the man have been 20,000
