A man says to his son 7 year ago i was 7 times as old as you were and three years hence i shall be 3 times as old as you.Find their ages

X=father

Y=son

X-7 = 7(y-7)...........(1)

X-3=3(y-3)............(2)

Both the equation are here so you can solve it by substitution method .
