Answer:

The answer is 25%. Hope it will help you. PLEASE MARK IT AS BRAINLIEST ANSWER.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let, he was having 100 articles.

and let the rate of each article be 10 rupees.

(1) 1/5th part of 100 is given by,

(1/5)×100 = 20 articles. He sold these 20 articles at a loss of 10%.

Rate of 20 articles should be, 200 rupees.

But, 10% loss is, (10/100)×200 = { 20 rupees loss }.

(2) 11/20th part of 100 is given by,

(11/20)×100 = 55 articles.He sold these 55 articles at a profit of 5%.

Rate of 55 articles should be, 550 rupees.

But, 5% profit is, (5/100)×550 = { 27.5 rupees profit }.

Now, till now he is in profit of 7.5 rupees.

For overall profit of 7%,

Real rate of 100 articles should be, (100×10) = 1000 rupees.

5% of 1000 rupees is, (7/100)×1000 = 70 rupees. But, he is already in 7.5 rupees profit. So, he should get (70 - 7.5) = 62.5 rupees more by selling remaining (100 - 55 - 20) = 25 articles.

He was supposed to get (25×10) = 250 rupees more by selling the remaining 25 articles.

But for getting (250+62.5) = 312.5 rupees, the percentage profit he will have to get is given by,

(62.5/250)×100 = 25%.
