Let x = C.P
Here,
S.P=Rs 270
Loss=10%
Then,
x - 10% of x = 270
This implies,x = 300
Again,
Let y=S.P with 25% profit
Then,
300 + 25% of 300 = y
This implies, y = 375
Therefore, the man would need to sell the widget for Rs 375 to get a profit of 25%

Afridiqus: I want to ask you that how 270 becomes 300
Knameirakpam: This implies 90x÷100=270
Knameirakpam: This implies 9x=270
Afridiqus: 300 batao kaise aaya??
Knameirakpam: This implies x = (27 ×100)÷9
Knameirakpam: =300
Knameirakpam: See the step properly
Afridiqus: OK thanks
Afridiqus: now I understand
Knameirakpam: Welcome
