Question : A man sells 320 mangoes at a cost price of 400 mangoes his gain percentage is

solution :

let the CP of 1 mango = Rs. 1

SP of 320 mangoes = CP of 400 mangoes = 400

CP of 320 mangoes = rs 320

gain = 400 - 320 = 80 RS

gain %

\frac{gain}{total}\times 100 \\\\\frac{8}{32}\times 100 \\\\\frac{100}{4}

= 25%

hence , The gain  percentage is 25%
