Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let Say the cost price of wheat is = C  Rs/Kg

Let say He sell  Y kg

Cost Price = CY  Rs

Sold at Profit of 5 % =  (5/100) CY = 0.05CY  Rs

Selling Price = Cost Price + Profit

Selling Price = CY + 0.05CY = 1.05CY Rs

Selling Price / kg = 1.05CY/Y = 1.05C Rs/kg

Price reduced by Rs 4 Kg

Then Reduced Price = 1.05C -4  Rs/Kg

New Selling Price = Y(1.05C -4)  Rs

as now loss of Rs 15

Cost price - Selling Price  = Rs 15

CY - Y(1.05C -4) = 15

=> CY - 1.05CY + 4Y = 15

=> Y( 4 - 0.05C) = 15

now cost price of wheat is dependent upon The wheat sold

Say Wheat sold = 10 kg

then

10(4 - 0.05C) = 15

=> 4 - 0.05C = 1.5

=> -0.05C = - 2.5

=> C = 2.5/0.05

=> C = 50

50 Rs Per kg and 10 kg sold

so Cost Price = Rs 50 * 100 = Rs 500

Similarly if we say 4kg Material Sold

Then 4(4 - 0.05C) = 15

=> 4 - 0.05C = 3.75

=> -0.05C = -0.25

=> C = 5

5rs/kg

cost price = 5 * 4 = Rs 20
