3 petrol pump's stop he has to make before he reaches delhi from Chandighar.

Explanation:

Given:

            Distance from Chandighar to Delhi is 244 km.

We know that  the mileage of Bahjaj Auto 45 Champion bike is 70 km per litre

                                                = 70 kmpl

It means the bike can run upto 70 kilometers with  1 litre petrol in it's tank.

To calculate the no. of petrol stations he has to stop, divdie 244 km from 70 kmpl.

So,                                           = \frac{244}{70}

                                                 = 3.49

It means he has to stop to 3 petrol stations to complete the journey. After this he will reach Delhi.
