The distance from observer is 52 m

Explanation:

The object is placed in front of mirror at a distance of 50 m .

In case of mirror , the image is formed as far behind the mirror as the object is in front of it .

Thus the image will be formed at a distance of 50 m behind the mirror .

As the observer is 2 m in front of the mirror

Thus the distance between observer and image is

50 + 2 = 52 m

Answer:

54m

Explanation:

total distance of chart from mirror is 50m+2m=52m so image distance of chart from plane mirror will also be 52m.

now our eyes are 2m away from plane mirror.

total distance of chart image to our eyes = 52+2m=54m
