CP is 375
on 1 he get 25 Percent
25/100×375=93.75
SP is 375+93.75=468.75

in another he get 25 Percent lost
25/100×375=93.75
SP is 375-93.75=281.25

Total sp is 750.45
SP is greater than CP
so it's a profit
profit is 375.5

profit percent is 375.5/375 ×100
=100.133

gain = 25 % , loss = 25 %

% change = a + b + ( ab/ 100 )

let , a = 25 ( gain ) , b = - 25 ( loss )

%change = 25 - 25 - 25 (-25 )/ 100

% change = 25 - 25 -( 625 / 100 )

% change = 25 - 25 - 6.25

25 - 31.25 = - 6.25 ( - ve means loss )

hence , he faced loss of 6.25 % .

how much ?

loss = 6.25 % of 375 = 6.25 / 100 × 375

= Rs 23.50 ( approximate )

therefore , he lost about Rs 23.50 in his whole transaction.
