a man sold two articles at Rs 500 each on the first article he gained 10% and on the other he lost 10% how much does he gain or loss in the whole transcation also find gain or loss percent in the whole transaction

article at gain = 10% of 500 => 10/100×500
=> 50
Price of article at gain = 550
article at loss = 10% of 500 = 10/100×550
=> 50
Price of article at loss = 550-50 = 450
Total SP at gain or loss = (450+550) = 1000
total SP without any gain or loss = 500+500 = 1000



Thus he neither gain or nor loss in whole transaction ..
