SP of both articles = ₹12,000
Let the CP of both articles be ₹x. Then,
Profit =25% of x
=25/100 × x
=1/4x
SP = CP + Profit
12,000 = x + 1/4x
12,000= 4x + x/4
12,000=5x/4
12,000×4=5x
12,000×4/5=x
96,000=x

Loss = 25% of x
=25/100 × x
=1/4x
SP = CP -Loss
12,000= x- 1/4x
12,000=4x-x/4
12,000=3x/4
12,000×4=3x
12,000×4/3=x
16,000

CP of both articles=₹(96,000+16,000)=1,12,000
SP of both articles=₹(12,000×2)=₹24,000

CP is greater than SP
Here is loss
Loss=CP-SP
=₹(1,12,000-24,000)
=₹88,000
Loss%= Loss/CP×100
=88,000/1,12,000×100
=78 unit 4/7

hope it will help u
